WELCOME TO YEAR ONE DOLPHINS
Welcome to the Dolphin Class!
Your class teachers are Miss Lewis and Mrs Davis.
Just like a true dolphin pod, we are always kind, gentle and welcoming. We help each other in learning, play and creativity.
Over the year, we’ll leap into some fantastic topics — including my two of my favourite Science units, "Animals Including Humans" and “Dinosaurs” as our history topic!
In the Dolphin Class, we love to read! We enjoy daily story time together with our favourite books and we use high-quality texts in our English lessons as inspiration for our writing.
We also have lots of fun with numbers! Daily counting and regular practice of our foundational maths skills help us grow in confidence as we continue our journey through school.
This year, we’re excited to go on some amazing trips — including Paradise Park, Wakehurst and the farm!
